File lock issues are causing issues wth accessing the S: drive

The SMB and NFS services have now been restarted. All file locks have been cleared. The M: and S: drives are now available.

Identified

Despite our best efforts we have been unable to clear the file locks with an alternative method. So we will be restarting the SMB and NFS services after 5pm today. This will be disruptive to all M: and S: drive mounts, and any NFS mounts from the eRI storage cluster. The outage should be about 15mins then the drives can be remounted.

Update

We are working with HPE and testing an alternative method to free the file locks without disrupting all the S: and M; drive mounts.

We are investigating. A restart of the SMB service may be necessary. If required this will be disruptive to all M: and S: drive mounts
